Farmers' Survey

Lithuanian Agricultural Advisory Service organized farmers’ survey during December 1999.

Totally 500 questionnaires have been sent to farmers and agricultural companies in 5 districts: Svencionys, Trakai, Vilkaviskis, Joniskis and Kedainiai. Education activites within the BAAP project will be executed in these districts therefore they were selected for the Farmers’ Survey.

The main idea of the survey is to know farmers opinion concerning environmental protection and their actions on the farm influencing the environment.

Farmers’ Survey was anonymous: By doing the Survey in this way we expected to get more exact answers. There were no needs for farmers to write their names.
