CODE OF GOOD AGRICULTURE PRACTICE - LITHUANIA

Co-ordinator of the project and heads of the working groups would like to thank The Danish Environmental Protection Agency, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania and Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania for financial resources allocated to prepare the Code, possibility to invite the best professionals into the working groups from Lithuanian University of Agriculture, Lithuanian Chamber of Agriculture, Lithuanian Agricultural Advisory Service, Farmers Union, Association of Agricultural Companies, Institutes of Agriculture, Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering and Water Management to make ready this publication.

We would like to express our great thank to experts from The Danish Agricultural Advisory Centre for methodical guiding during preparation of the project.

The Code of Good Agricultural Practices will be useful for everybody who wants to manage a farm profitably, to produce high quality products, and also to preserve a healthy environment for future generations. In addition, this publication is one more contribution to Lithuanian preparation to enter the European Union.
